HALO helps women get home safe.

According to YouGov, 55 per cent of women have experienced harassment and/or assault on public transport, and four in five have experienced sexual harassment in a public space.

Halo provides instant-access digital guides instructing women about the procedures for dealing with various emergency conditions that might arise during their commute, including harassment and physical threats.

Using the same psychology as passenger safety cards on airplanes, HALO delivers step-by-step instructions to disrupt, de-escalate and evacuate, empowering women to safely get where they need to go: work, school, home. Halo keeps women safe every step of the way.

The Safety App Gap

From first alert to location arrival, the shortest recorded emergency service response time is 7 minutes. Whether using the metro, taking a cab, or walking, a lot can happen in those 7 minutes.

Integrating Halo into mobility apps and working with tracking and SOS apps allows users access to immediate information on how to disrupt, de-escalate and get away in that 7-minute gap before help arrives.
